New York Fashion Week is just around the corner, and this year promises to be a showcase of brilliance from some of the most talented Black designers in the industry. The Fall 2025 season is shaping up to highlight creativity, diversity, and innovation, with these standout designers taking center stage.
New York Fashion Week (NYFW) is set to take place from February 6 to 11, 2025. This season, several Black designers will be showcasing their collections.
- February 6: Christopher John Rogers will bring his signature use of bold colors, striking patterns, and dramatic silhouettes to the runway. Expect a joyful and empowering collection that speaks to individuality and creativity.
- February 7: Sergio Hudson will unveil a collection filled with sophisticated tailoring and modern takes on classic elegance. Drawing inspiration from icons of the past, Hudson’s pieces are designed for the powerful, confident woman.
- February 10: Rachel Scott of Diotima will highlight her signature handcrafted knitwear, created in collaboration with Jamaican artisans. Her designs blend contemporary elegance with Caribbean influences.
- February 10: LaQuan Smith. Known for his sultry, high-glam designs, LaQuan Smith is set to open his NYFW show with a collection that promises to celebrate confidence and sensuality. His daring, body-hugging creations have made him a favorite among celebrities and fashion insiders alike.
- February 11: Aaron Potts (A. Potts) As part of New York Men’s Day, Aaron Potts will present a collection featuring his utilitarian-inspired designs. His gender-neutral pieces are celebrated for their versatility and artistic flair.
